sir-fish: I was asked to participate in an amazing project called “A Votre Sante.”  18 outstanding artists collaborated to create an impressive collection of character illustrations based on what certain alcoholic drinks meant to them.  Because this book debuted at Yaoi-Con 2011, you’ll only find beautiful men within its pages.  You can read more about this project and see the whole spectrum of artists at A Votre Sante.  The book is still available for purchase, so please have a look!  This is my illustration of the Italian liquor, amaretto.  You can read more about my concept on my new DeviantArt.

Fireflies on the Water by Yayoi Kusama (2002) consists of a small room lined with mirrors on all sides, a pool in the center of the space, and 150 small lights hanging from the ceiling, creating a dazzling effect of direct and reflected light, emanating from both the mirrors and the water’s surface. Too see in motion, check out the video (Here)
